When did we stop appreciating people and finding them beautiful for who they just are?

Well what to say, I am floored by people nowadays.  I have an issue with work and they have changed how we are paid (we will get paid less of course), this went into affect Apr 1st.  Well no one has explained the changes to us or anything even though it directly affects our pay and our families, it is now April 4th.  The manager that should have been informing us went off and got a boob job instead of dealing with her employees or providing them with the info that is entitled to them.  How sick is that?  Are boobs more important than people now and their welfare?  Are boobs more important than families?  When did our society start worrying more about boobs than each other?  Makes me sad that people are so consumed with body parts and how they look that they forget about being a human being and looking after each other:(
